The day is designed to build confidence, joy and self-awareness, while focusing on self-regulation skills, boundaries, relationship skills, communication, creative problem solving, and coping with life challenges.
We have 25 acres to explore with fallen down trees, climbing trees, a gorse maze, streams, swamps and a pond to discove
While we are out on our adventure, we might have a fire and cook popcorn, or make huts and forts, or do some whittling.
We have flax weaving, toy making, and other nature crafts to do either while we’re out or back at the barn
In the afternoon, we bring our ponies in for brushing, hanging out, leading and games. I’ve based what we do with the ponies on the Horse Wisdom Programm
Previous horse experience is not necessary and this is a non-riding programme
